EMT Psychomotor Exam Description
There are 6 stations available for/NREMT Practical Exam Testing:/ You must pass all 6 to complete the psychomotor portion of your certification testing. The stations that are tested are:
- Trauma Patient Assessment
- Medical Patient Assessment
- Airway Management
- Cardiac Arrest Management
- Seated Supine Immobilization
- Random Skill Station (either Long Bone Immobilization or Joint Immobilization)
The New Britain EMS Academy is a host for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) practical exams as approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. /All Connecticut practical examinations are tested to the latest version of the NREMT Skill Sheets.
Both initial and repeat examinations are offered monthly. Observation opportunities as exam victims/patients are also available at each test. Anyone testing for the first time or that has tested previously and failed 4, 5, or 6 stations should register for an initial examination.
